This is a replacement Shackle Retaining Pin made from stainless steel.
Replacing this pin requires some basic engineering knowledge. 
It is very easy to damage this pin and there is no warranty should you do so.

Firstly, you need to gently tap out the old pin using a parallel drift of the correct size.
We have found 2.5mm to be most suitable but this is for you to determine on your padlock.
Then tap the new pin most of the way in using a larger drift so as not to damage the end of the pin.
Finally go back to the smaller drift to tap the pin fully home.
