Defender Security U 10817 Deadlock, Jimmy-Resistant, Single Cylinder Door Lock

EASY INSTALLATION – Installation is quick and easy, with instructions included. The deadlock is a surface-mounted, cross-bolt locking device which can be mounted to 1-3/8” to 2-3/8” thick, wood or metal doors. It can be installed inside or outside, on left- or right-hinged doors.

INCLUDES - This door lock includes an angled strike, a rim cylinder, two keys (keyed differently), a cylinder trim ring, fasteners, a mounting plate, instructions and a tamper-resistant shutter guard. This lock requires a 1-1/4” hole and uses Segal keyway.

INSTALLATION TIP - Snap-off or cut-off end sections of tailpiece as needed, if it is too long for your door. Having the tailpiece too long can negatively affect the performance of the lock. Use pliers to snap-off, a hacksaw or small disk to cut-off, and a file to remove sharp edges and burrs.
